General terms and conditions of sale
1. Purpose
The purpose of the present General Conditions of Sale is, on the one hand, to inform any possible consumer on the terms and conditions under which the seller (hereinafter "Tethys Ceramics") proceeds to the sale and delivery of the ordered articles and, on the other hand, to define the rights and obligations of the parties in the context of the sale of articles by Tethys Ceramics to any natural or legal person (hereinafter "the buyer"). They apply, without restriction or reserve, to all sales of articles proposed by Tethys Ceramics on its website www.tethys-ceramics.ch (hereafter "the site").
Any purchase made on the site implies an unconditional acceptance by the buyer of the present General Conditions of Sale. These conditions prevail over any other general or particular conditions not expressly approved in writing by Tethys Ceramics.
Tethys Ceramics reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time, without notice. The applicable conditions are those in force at the time of the order by the buyer.
2. Representations on the site
The site presents the articles with information allowing the buyer to know the essential characteristics of the articles.
The photographs are as accurate as possible and any visual or descriptive representation is given as an indication only. These characteristics and photographs have no contractual value and do not commit Tethys Ceramics. Differences in color, perspective or texture may be related to the photographs, the type of screens and their settings.

3. Prices
The prices are indicated in Swiss Francs (CHF), all Swiss taxes included. They do not include shipping costs, nor other possible taxes (customs fees, VAT of other countries) which will have to be paid by the buyer.
Additional shipping costs are indicated during the purchase process, before the order is confirmed.
Tethys Ceramics reserves the right to change its prices at any time without notice. The products will be invoiced to the buyer on the basis of the prices indicated at the time of the validation of the order.
4. Orders
By clicking on the button "Make payment" and accepting the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, the customer confirms the purchase and concludes a sales contract within the meaning of Articles 197 et seq. of the Swiss Code of Obligations. All the data provided is proof of the transaction.
When the order is validated, the buyer receives a confirmation e-mail.
Tethys Ceramics reserves the right to refuse all or part of an order, in particular when the ordered items, or part of them, are sold out. All items are sold while stocks last.
5. Payments
The authorized payment methods are:
Online payment on our website.
TWINT (contact us directly at info@tethys-ceramics.ch).
By bank transfer (payment must be made within 7 working days after the order).
In cash if the buyer picks up the item at the workshop. In this case, there will be no shipping costs.
If the article is not picked up within 14 days, it will be put back on sale and will no longer be considered as reserved.
6. Deliveries
Tethys Ceramics delivers by Swiss Post everywhere in Switzerland and in Europe, to the address indicated by the buyer at the time of the order.
The delivery costs are calculated during the purchase procedure, before the validation of the order, according to the country of destination, the weight and the volume of the parcel as well as the current rates of the Swiss Post.
The deliveries for all the articles are made according to the available stock.
In case of damage during transport, the complaint must be made to the carrier within three days of receipt.
7. Right of return
Defects must be reported to Tethys Ceramics immediately by e-mail to the following address: info@tethys-ceramics.ch.
The items must be returned in new and unused condition, in the original packaging.
In case of return as described above, Tethys Ceramics will do its best to refund the buyer as soon as possible for the amount of the returned items.
8. Protection of personal information
For the use of the customer's data, Tethys Ceramics complies with the legislation in force, in particular with the law on data protection. Tethys Ceramics only keeps the data necessary for the proper execution of the order, its invoicing and delivery. Tethys Ceramics does not communicate any information to a third party.
9. Intellectual Property
All elements of the site are the exclusive intellectual property of Tethys Ceramics. Nobody can and is not authorized to reproduce, exploit, rebroadcast, or use for any purpose whatsoever, even partially, elements of the site whether they are software, visual or sound.
10. Applicable law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and established in accordance with Swiss law. Any dispute related to these Terms and Conditions will be under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swiss courts.
